Milton's experiences make him one of Canada's most eclectic and interesting personalities. Prior to migrating to Canada, he lived in Jamaica and served in the Jamaican military. Even while on-guard for his native Jamaica, he thrived in the sport of sprinting (track and field). It was this ability that paved his way onto the much-celebrated Jamaican Bobsled team in 1989. He would subsequently attend the 1992 Winter Olympic Games as a member of the Jamaican Bobsled squad.
After migrating to Canada just after the 1992 Olympics, he continued his commitment to service and enrolled in the Canadian military. Milton served Canada faithfully in the capacity of Military Officer (lieutenant) for seven years.
Milton's first post-secondary degree was achieved at York University where he attained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Mass Communications with honors. He went on to successfully complete a Masters degree in Environmental Studies from York University and a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Toronto.
Milton continues to serve Canada in the capacities of a College Professor and a high school educator. He is always mindful of why we should invest wholeheartedly in our children. As an aspiring political leader, the underpinning of his platform is that we need to create effective infrastructure/mechanisms to ensure that all our children succeed.
